We're seeking to hire a full-time Dental Hygienist proficient and knowledgeable in periodontal and preventive practices. At Our Dental, hygienists have a minimum of 1 hour for routine patient care, Thu-Friday instruments, power scaling (piezo and/or cavitron) along with state of art dental office, and an amazing team environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Screening patients during checkups
• Reviewing patient’s dental history
• Recommend care to improve a patient’s oral health
• Teach patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
• Identify conditions such as gingivitis or periodontitis
• Perform preventive dental care
• Apply fluoride treatments
• Take x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
• Outstanding communication skills
• A patient and friendly personality
• Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
• Diploma in Dental Hygiene; advance training on instrumentation and/or bachelors degree a plus
• Valid license to practice
