Job Overview A law firm seeks a dedicated Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team in Leesburg, VA. Manage all aspects of civil litigation from inception through resolution. Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Develop case strategies through legal research and analysis. Appear in court and participate in hearings, motions, depositions, and trials. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff for cohesive client service. Meet billable hour expectations in line with firm standards. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, in good standing. Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience required. Ability to manage a caseload independently. Strong analytical, writing, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Skills Strong analytical and writing skills.
