About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Clinical Development to play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational aspects of clinical studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of clinical study protocols, managing clinical proof of concept and pivotal studies, and providing strategic guidance for preclinical and clinical programs. This role requires a strong background in oncology solid tumor clinical development, with a proven track record of leading programs from early-phase trials through regulatory submissions. The Executive Director will also be accountable for the medical and scientific integrity of clinical data, as well as for the preparation of various clinical and regulatory documents. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should hold an MD, with a preference for an advanced medical or life sciences degree, and have at least 12 years' of experience in the life sciences industry. The role demands a leader with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, who can inspire and manage cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, the ability to develop innovative clinical strategies, and a strong focus on robust study conduct and quality data generation. Responsibilities also include identifying clinical trial sites, supporting site activities, and maintaining a strong presence in health authority interactions. The position is based in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, and may require periodic travel.
