Production Machine OperatorThe Production Machine Operator is an entry-level position responsible for operating laser cutting equipment, setting up cutting programs and fixtures, and ensuring parts meet quality and dimensional standards. This role supports the production and manufacturing team by performing routine maintenance, identifying material defects, and maintaining efficient workflow on the shop floor. Committed to transparent practices, we deliver cutting-edge solutions that exceed client expectations, shaping a sustainable future in the energy industry.Key Responsibilities:Perform typical laser cutting operations.Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures.Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.Perform prescribed maintenance as required.Perform all dimensional inspections.Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.Required Skills and Knowledge:High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred1-2 years of laser operator experience preferredPrior training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage, awareness and quality system awareness preferredAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Benefits and Pay:$20/hrGenerous benefits including paid holidays, PTO, sick leave as per state regulations, medical/dental/vision insurance, FSA/HSA, disability coverages, and a 401K plan with matching contributions.Physical Requirements:Must comply with safety requirements (e.g., clean-shaven, long sleeves, steel-toe boots).Must pass a drug screen and background check.Able to:Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways.Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces (e.g., towers, vessels, excavations).Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
