Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process. In this role, you will review electronic medical records and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on Veterans. You will electronically document exam findings via a web portal, but will not make disability determinations or prescribe medication. The primary responsibility is performing disability assessments for 3-5 Veterans daily. Key responsibilities include: Analyzing medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and provide medical opinions Ensuring accurate documentation within the web portal Managing time effectively to meet daily assessment targets Qualifications and skills: Current, unrestricted NP or PA license (NCCPA accredited) Meeting VA credentialing requirements Proficiency in computer use Interest in performing Independent Medical Assessments Additional details: Training and support provided, health insurance options available, in-person clinical setting, set weekday schedule, no on-call duties, performing assessments in North Platte, NE.
