Job Overview

Northeastern Air Quality is seeking a meticulous and highly organised Data Entry Clerk to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time position based in our Connecticut Farms, New Jersey, United States office. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining critical data that supports our mission to improve air quality for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity, playing a vital role in the efficiency of our environmental consulting services.

Responsibilities

* Accurately input, update, and maintain data from various sources, including air quality test results, client information, and assessment reports, into the company database.
* Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output.
* Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
* Scan, file, and organise physical and digital documents to ensure they are easily accessible.
* Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.
* Collaborate with the technical and consulting teams to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the data supporting our client projects.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a data entry role or a similar position.
* Fast and accurate typing skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* High school diploma or equivalent; further computer training or certification will be an asset.
* A genuine interest in environmental services is desirable but not essential.

Salary

* We offer a competitive hourly wage of $55 - $65 USD , commensurate with experience.
