As the Sr Healthcare Economics Consultant - Python Developer, you will perform critical research and investigation of key business problems. You will leverage your strong business skills and translate them into solid technical solutions.Using phenomenal analytical skills, you will develop and improve quantitative data analytics and set performance targets for the enterprise. As a subject matter expert, you will interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for its consolidation. Primary Responsibilities:Lead and support the data infrastructure for the Optimal Care HCE initiativeDevelopment of data queries and extracts necessary for network analytics initiativesInterpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approachesProvide claims, premium, capitation and membership data in support of provider reporting and utilization analysesCreate and update automated processesProduce and review reportsYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with either a major or minor in Computer Science ro equivalent4+ years of work experience in a corporate setting2+ years of experience in Python, with expert level proficiency working with large data sets2+ years of experience in SQL query writing, with advanced level proficiencyExperience using Python data libraries such as pandasStatistical Analysis experience or educationAbility and interest in learning the intricacies of the business and translating them to technical solutionsPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience in health care analytics working with large data setsMedical coding experienceVisualization experience in Tableau or a similar toolIntermediate level of proficiency working with MS Excel including formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.To protect the health and safety of our workforce, patients and communities we serve, UnitedHealth Group and its affiliate companies require all employees to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status prior to beginning employment. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
