Job Description The Data Integrity Specialist position is responsible for reviewing and correcting data extracted by the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process used by hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices, and lockbox operations as it moves through the RMS data processing platform. Qualifications Duties and Responsibilities Maintain data entry requirements by following program protocols Audit customer data for accuracy; make necessary adjustments Comply with HIPAA guidelines as outlined in the RMS HIPAA Security and Compliance Policy Contribute to balancing teams’ effort to accomplish daily goals, fulfill workloads, and meet individual goals Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Self-Motivated Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented team environment Display willingness and ability to learn Understand the importance of meeting individual and team goals Meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner continually striving to increase productivity Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while looking for ways to improve and promote quality Apply feedback on performance to daily work while monitoring own work to ensure productivity goals are met 10-Key Experience Health Care Billing/Explanation of Benefits knowledge a plus Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Education/Experience A high school diploma or GED required.
