SQL DBA

Database AdministratorAdminister, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.Develop SQL reporting queries.Troubleshoot database issues.Database performance tuning.SQL statement tuning.Reviewing and Implementing Database design changes.Coding (procedures, functions, packages, triggers, etc.).Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related field of study or 4 additional years' experience in lieu of degree.3+ years or more experience in writing and tuning SQL queries3+ years or more experience in IT Delivery and/or Operations experience3+ years or more of SQL coding / scripting experienceAbility to report 3x a week (Tuesdays through Thursdays) at the client site in Colorado Springs, COFully adjudicated Secret Security Clearance.Other Job Specific SkillsExperience in SAFe Agile methodology.Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program.Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.Compensation RangesCompensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
