Plaster work is a major part of our projects, making this skill-set essential for the role. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, eager to learn, and able to work efficiently within a team-oriented environment.Responsibilities- Interior painting and finishing for high-end residential projects - Plaster repair, skim coating, and finishing - Surface preparation including sanding, priming, masking, and caulking - Finish work on walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and millwork - Maintaining clean and organized job sites - Working in occupied homes and active renovation environmentsRequirements- Minimum 5 years of professional residential painting experience - Minimum 5 years of professional plaster experience - Strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing techniques - Ability to produce high-quality finish work - Provide your own tools - Fluency in English - Reliable transportation to worksites - Punctual, dependable, and professional - Willingness to learn and take directionPreferred But Not Required- Spanish speaking is a strong plus - OSHA certification - Scaffold certification### About UsTaffera Fine Building & Finishes is a Brooklyn-based renovation company specializing in high-end residential restoration, plaster, painting, and fine finishing work throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan.
