Overview Description The Staff Nurse at Adams Heritage plays a vital role in delivering person-centered nursing care by collaborating closely with the healthcare team, residents, and families. They participate in education efforts, provide leadership, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents. Their responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, performing tests, administering medications, and promoting patient independence through education on conditions and self-care skills, all within the scope of nursing practice in alignment with Adams Health Network's philosophy and standards. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and document nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; perform tests as needed. Administer medications in accordance with nursing scope and standards. Promote patient independence through education on conditions and self-care skills. Provide leadership and contribute to a safe, comfortable environment for residents. Requirements 40 hours per week - Third Shift Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Valid RN or LPN license in the State of Indiana BLS/CPR Certification Required Benefits This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus - RN: $20,000 / LPN: $12,000 Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment; all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date. #J-18808-Ljbffr
