MCRM is seeking an experienced Senior Market Risk Specialist with strong technical skills, familiarity with management and regulatory reporting, and a desire to learn about counterparty risk. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and have a strong attention to detail. This role will focus on the production and development of Counterparty management reporting and regulatory reporting, specifically the FFIEC 101, FR-Y9C and FR-Y15. In addition, this role will require regular interaction with other teams across ECRM, middle office, and front office.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in risk program development or maintenance and provide oversight of market, interest rate and counterparty risk activities within Market Risk
• Contribute to evaluating and approving risk models related to risk management framework
• Evaluate and approve moderately complex trading models, market risk, basis risk, delivery risk and counterparty aggregated credit risk exposure on a daily or long-range basis for specific financial products
• Consult and implement initiatives with moderate to high risk and lead team to meet market risk deliverables
• Leverage solid understanding of risk management challenges and provide input with focus on risk disclosures, remediation, due diligence, suitability, and reputation risk
• Collaborate and consult with management and board of directors to provide periodic or scheduled risk reports that present a companywide view of risk management

Required Qualifications, US:

• 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: trading, desk analyst, Capital Markets, market risk, interest rate risk or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
• Knowledge and understanding of compiling and preparing executive summaries, whitepaper, and presentations for management/senior leaders
• SQL and VBA experience
• Familiarity and experience with the Institutions to Institutions Credit Exposure report (Top 50/IICE).
• Knowledge and understanding of Counterparty Risk or Market Risk measures and calculations (PFE, CVA, Current and Net Exposure, VaR, Issuer Risk)
• Familiarity with shared Excel models, templates and related formatting conventions
• Business process and leadership exposure with demonstrated success managing and implementing complex projects and processes
• Personal characteristics: comfortable multi-tasking, sound judgment, takes initiative, team player and attention to detail
