Completes nutrition assessments of clients (e.g., reviews medical charts, interviews direct care staff, interviews patient regarding likes, dislikes, allergies and chewing or digestion problems). Maintains dietary & nutrition records, reports, and progress notes (e.g., patient charting, census sheets, daily/monthly/quarterly reports, treatment plans). Plans and/or conducts in‑service training programs pertaining to nutrition for clients & staff and attends various meetings (e.g., treatment team meetings, internal facility committee). If employed at Ohio Veterans' Home, must also have 1 year supervisory experience in dietetic service of a health care institution & participate annually in continuing dietetic education. Job Skills: Medical Salary: $27.83 per hour with first increase in 180 days to $29.12. Effective July 2025 increase to $29.08 per hour with first increase in 180 days to $30.43 per the current 1199 bargaining unit contract. Annual increases each year with an additional longevity supplement after 5 years of service.
