Radiologic Technologist with Mammography Certification

Location: Gap, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4/10s, 7 AM - 6 PM, Monday through Thursday

Job Description: This position is for a dual certified diagnostic mammography technologist and radiologic technologist. The candidate will perform screening and diagnostic digital mammography in both 2D Mammography and 3D Breast Tomosynthesis, as well as radiologic x-ray services as scheduled. The role will focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic digital mammography.
• Conduct radiologic x-ray services as scheduled.
• Assist the radiologist with special mammographic procedures, including stereotactic biopsy, ductograms, and needle localization.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and follow protocols to ensure patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have successfully completed radiology training from an AMA approved school.
• Two (2) years of experience in mammography with two years as a radiologic technologist.
• Experience in performing special procedures and training in breast tomosynthesis.
• Current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R).
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiology with qualifications in Mammography (RT)(M).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
