Assistant Football Coach

We are seeking a passionate, student-centered coach who is committed to helping build a comprehensive flag football program that supports student‑athletes both on and off the field. Qualifications and Responsibilities: Required: Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate or New Jersey Substitute Certificate. Current certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid (or the ability to obtain certification prior to the start of the season). Demonstrated knowledge of flag football fundamentals, offensive/defensive techniques, game-day responsibilities, safety standards, and position‑specific skill progression Ability to assist in organizing practices, supervise students, and maintain a safe, positive learning environment. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, school administration, athletic administration, and the high school coaching staff. Foster an academic‑based athletic culture by encouraging academic excellence, accountability, positive citizenship while supporting student‑athletes in achieving success both in the classroom and in flag football.
