Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Seattle works within a Level III and Level IV NICU environment. The role involves caring for high-risk neonates, including preterm infants at 23-24 weeks gestation, with responsibilities that include specialized procedures such as ventilator management and administration of blood products. The position requires familiarity with neonatal care protocols and the ability to float to different hospital campuses as needed. Job Details Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Level III or IV NICU, BLS and NRP certifications, proficiency in administration of blood and blood products, central line care, neonatal feeding techniques, neonatal dosage calculations, ventilator management including CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, oscillators, and Vents, and management of PICC/Central Lines. Experience with neonates between 29-34 weeks and 34+ weeks, attending high-risk deliveries, and neonatal surgeries is essential. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system and community hospital environments. Additional Information: This role predominantly involves caring for neonates and infants, with a focus on infants born at 23-24 weeks gestation. The unit does not handle ECMO but manages other advanced neonatal procedures. Float to other campuses such as Issaquah and Edmonds for NICU coverage, and potentially to pediatric units as needed. The position includes attending neonatal surgeries and managing high-risk deliveries.
