Description Job Title: Stand & Deliver Enrollment & Match Support Specialist - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Department: Stand & Deliver Mentoring Program Reports to: Mentoring Manager Direct Reports: None Hours: Full-time (32 hours per week) Type: Hybrid Role (In-Person & Remote) FLSA: Non-Exempt A. Overview Family Services of the Merrimack Valley is seeking a full-time, 32 hours per week, Enrollment & Match Support Specialist to join its Stand & Deliver academic mentoring program. The Enrollment & Match Support Specialist is responsible for enrolling, matching and supporting volunteer mentors and children in need of mentors in the Stand & Deliver program. He/she will assess individuals for suitability and training needs in order to assure a positive youth development experience for the child and successful and satisfying experience for the volunteer. Key Duties and Responsibilities Conduct volunteer enrollments including: recruitment, interviews, orientations and trainings, and completion of any required background checks. Conduct student enrollments including: recruitment, interviews, orientations and trainings. Make mentor/mentee matches based on student/mentor preferences, needs, and similar interests. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with corporate partner coordinators and school liaisons as well as any other community partners and stakeholders. Participate in program events including kick-offs, field trips, college panels and end of the year celebrations. Work with Program Supervisor to provide mentors with academic material/resources, and ongoing volunteer training when necessary. Provide mentors, students, and parents/guardians with on-going match support, developing action plans for students/matches as needed. Be aware of child safety indicators. Implement innovative and solid family/caregiver engagement strategies. Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation according to agency standards. Conduct mid-year survey and end of year evaluations with students, parents and volunteers. Contribute to a collaborative and positive team culture by actively participating in team discussions, communicating ideas, challenges and successes openly and professionally. Participate in agency recruitment, fundraising and match activities as necessary. Other duties as assigned or requested by the Mentoring Manager. Requirements C. Required Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field or a minimum of two to three years of relevant work experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Demonstrated ability to manage projects, cultivate partnerships, and maintain positive professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Experience working effectively with diverse communities, cultures, and populations—including the Latinx community—and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of service delivery. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, groups, and community partners. Comfortable presenting information and speaking to groups in community and professional settings. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn new software applications and data management systems. Ability to work independently with sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving skills while contributing effectively as a collaborative team member. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to support program activities, events, and community outreach. Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. D. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is highly preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the Merrimack Valley as needed.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is a 32 hours per week, non-exempt, benefited position with a pay range of $20-$22 per hour, commensurate upon experience. A generous time off policy for employees working 30 hours or more per week including 4 weeks of paid Earned Time Off as well as 13 paid holidays per year! This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Earn the first $500, after successful completion of 30 days, then the final $500 after successful completion of 90 days!
