Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience in endoscopy, and a commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties in an endoscopy unit, including circulating and maintaining patient safety.
• Assist with various endoscopic procedures, such as EGD, bronchoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound.
• Start and maintain IV access, manage specimens, and assist in patient recovery post-procedure.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide conscious sedation as required.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, with specific experience in endoscopy nursing.
• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
