RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: Priority given to submits with a screenshot confirming RTO and schedule requests. No requests will be approved after offer. Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. The CVOR is staffed by highly specialized multidisciplinary teams and utilizes state-of-the-art technology. The facility is renowned for its advanced cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and transplant programs and is home to one of the nation s largest and most established heart transplant centers.Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a 665-bed quaternary teaching hospital and a key member of the RWJBarnabas Health system. Floating Requirements/Ratios: Candidates are required to float within their skillset, no exceptions. Ratios vary based on census and staffing. When floated, RNs will be assigned a patient ratio based on patient acuity License/Certifications: Active NJ or Compact license is required at time of submission. All certifications required at time of submission unless otherwise specified. Please indicate upon submission if traveler will acquire certificate prior to start date. Submissions: Maximum of 3 submissions per candidate per facility Local Rules : Locals accepted at the same rate. Background Policy : Open/active BG hits and/or License Hits NOT accepted. Compliance : Labs MUST be completed 48 hours of signing. Valid NJ State License or Compact License required for nursing, at time of submission. Failing competency exams require a 6-month break before clinician can re-submit. Certifications are required at time of submission unless otherwise specified and can be obtained prior to start. ED/Behavioral Health/Psychiatric RNs MUST complete de-escalation training within 14 days of their start date.
