CST Surgical Tech Opportunity

MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join our client's dynamic surgical team near Kirtland Afb, New Mexico!

Key Responsibilities for CST Surgical Tech:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical equipment and instruments are properly sterilized and ready for use.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, supplies, and sterile items as needed.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict surgical protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including nurses and anesthesiologists, for seamless procedural support.
• Monitor surgical supplies and assist with inventory management to ensure readiness for future cases.

Surgical Tech Position Requirements:

• Active CST certification from NBSTSA or equivalent accrediting body.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Tech in an acute care hospital setting.
