This position will stand watch to prevent cheating and ensure a compliant, safe, and fair environment and to ensure accurate results. Roles and Responsibilities The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed in relation to the position. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate: Prepares classrooms prior to assessment administration, with custodial and administrative support as needed. Records test-taker attendance as requested and affirms test taker identities. Administers designated assessment(s), to include instructions, per the vendor requirements. Provides any appropriate materials needed during the assessment administration, to include specific student assessment accommodations, and ensures only approved materials are used during the exam. Monitors test-takers to prevent cheating. Follows prescribed protocols and reports any suspicious activity according to protocols. Collects and organizes assessments as they are finished and/or at the end of the allotted time, storing them securely and returning them as directed. Provides technical assistance during testing, as needed. Qualifications Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable. Education High school diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience NA Licenses and Certifications NA Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Good verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with common exam practices and procedures Willingness to follow all protocols and procedures Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. The employee must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. The employee must possess normal cognitive abilities including the ability to learn, recall and apply certain practices and policies. Frequently sitting and/or remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
