AR Specialist

A growing, multi-million dollar corporate distribution division in the DFW market is adding a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to their 7-person accounting team. This opening is created by an internal promotion into HR/Payroll, demonstrating a clear organizational track record of internal mobility and team development.

salary: $28 - $29 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Receivable and business-to-business collections workflows.

• Maintain accurate aging schedules, investigate discrepancies, and drive cash collection efficiency.

• Utilize enterprise-level ERP software to process high-volume transactional data across the division.

• Perform account reconciliations and custom reporting using intermediate-to-advanced Excel functions.

• Partner with internal corporate accounting stakeholders to streamline monthly closing processes.

Position Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree required.

• ERP Proficiency: Direct experience with enterprise ERP software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle).

• Technical Skills: strong Microsoft Excel capabilities for analytical reporting and account tracking.

• Soft Skills: High professional confidence, strong communication, and team-oriented collaboration skills.
