Director of Youth Ministries

Williamsburg United Methodist Church in Williamsburg, Virginia, is seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministries. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive approach to the Christian education and development of youth in grades 6-12. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to work with the church and community to develop and grow robust youth programming that welcomes young persons and their families into Williamsburg United Methodist Church. The Director will be responsible for planning regular youth events on Sunday mornings and evenings; local and global mission and outreach activities; recruiting and coordinating with volunteers; and interacting with other church staff with related church activities.
