As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Monitor in Fort Worth, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 11:00 PM - 03:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, passenger concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and public areas, report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations, and document incidents according to site procedures. Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, supporting crowd management during peak periods or special events, and communicating respectfully with diverse members of the public. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
