Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at a residential property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various facilities and equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable living environment for residents. This role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across multiple building systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on facilities equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for various repair tasks, including carpentry and interior maintenance.
• Conduct HVAC system inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain proper climate control.
• Carry out carpentry work such as repairing or replacing doors, cabinets, and other wooden fixtures.
• Maintain the interior of buildings by addressing issues related to walls, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or property management.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Experience

• At least 2 years of proven experience in facilities equipment maintenance within residential or commercial settings.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and basic repair techniques.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repair procedures.
• Experience with carpentry projects and interior building maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and implement effective solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and residents.
