VP- Head of Valuation

A leading global investment firm with over $100B AUM is seeking a senior leader to oversee firmwide valuation strategy and execution across a diverse investment platform.

This role will manage a team of 5 lead valuation processes, governance, and reporting across asset classes including venture, growth equity, real estate, and credit. You'll partner closely with investment and finance teams, chair valuation committees, and ensure methodologies, controls, and systems scale with continued growth.

This is a hybrid role 4 days per week in office that could sit in either New York or San Francisco

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end valuation processes and policies (including Level 3 assets)
• Oversee valuation committees, reporting, and governance frameworks
• Manage and develop a cross-office team
• Drive implementation of valuation tools and data systems
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders (auditors, appraisers, investors)
• Support performance tracking, analytics, and ongoing process improvements

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years in investment valuations (PE/VC/asset management)
• Strong expertise across multiple asset classes and valuation methodologies
• Experience with financial reporting standards (e.g., fair value accounting)
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Familiarity with valuation tech and data tool

Base salary up to 250k plus competitive bonus potential and excellent benefits
