Job Summary Dishwasher I – 26000798 Panther Dining Hall, Georgia State University, Atlanta Campus. Full Time, FLSA Non‑Exempt, salary $15.00 – $15.43 per hour. Professional development opportunities and mentorship. A rapidly growing center within an academic setting. Job Responsibilities Properly cleans the cooking utensils and equipment. Restocks all washed items in the appropriate area. Maintains the cleanliness of dish machines as well as dish areas. Washes, sorts, replaces, and restocks flatware, serving dishes, china, glasses, and all other washable items. Assists daily in trash removal, cleaning, and maintenance of the back‑of‑house operation. Assists in the organization, picking up, and cleaning of the laundry area. Ensures the dish machine is properly cleaned and maintained throughout the shift. Supports management in ensuring continued compliance with Green Seal initiatives and other sustainability efforts. Qualifications Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience. Preferred Requirements Previous dishwashing experience. Excellent customer service. Physical Requirements: Extended standing, walking, ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders. Ability to lift 35 pounds. Ability to work in all temperature conditions.
