Job Description
OTR Drivers are responsible for long-haul transportation using company-owned vehicles, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods over extended routes. They operate independently, typically spending up to three weeks on the road per trip, while maintaining communication and coordination with dispatchers to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform long-haul driving across designated routes
- Inspect vehicles to guarantee safety and functionality before and during trips
- Monitor compliance with safety and transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate driving logs and reports
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of long-haul truck driving experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficient in route planning and time management
- Experience with vehicle inspection and safety compliance
- Strong communication skills
