Working closely within a school setting, you’ll collaborate with teachers and staff to provide seamless, accessible instruction.

• Part-time schedule: 12–3:30pm CST, with the possibility of expanding to full-time
• Position primarily onsite; open to virtual (VOCO) candidates as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3.5 EIPA required
• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in a school environment
• Comfortable with one-on-one student support and adapting communication to various learning situations
• Committed to fostering a supportive and accessible educational setting
• Flexibility and readiness to collaborate with educational professionals
• Ability to work onsite preferred, but candidates open to virtual engagement will also be considered

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct interpretation services for one middle school student in academic and school-related settings

• Adapt interpreting style to match student’s learning needs
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in all interactions
