We are looking for an experienced Part-Time HR Recruiter to support hiring operations for a Contract position based in Tacoma, Washington. This role will manage recruitment activities from sourcing through onboarding while helping maintain a smooth candidate experience for a range of non-executive positions. The ideal candidate brings strong corporate recruiting experience, communicates effectively with applicants and hiring teams, and is comfortable handling both talent acquisition and selected HR administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for positions such as case managers, care coordinators, and volunteer-related roles, from intake through start date

• Identify and engage candidates with relevant experience using proactive sourcing methods, resume review, and phone-based screening conversations

• Coordinate and conduct interviews with applicants while partnering with hiring managers to move candidates efficiently through the selection process

• Prepare hiring documentation, including offer communications, disposition notices, reference checks, and new employee packets

• Support onboarding activities to help ensure new employees complete required steps and begin work successfully

• Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records within the applicant tracking system and related HR tools, including Paycom when applicable

• Assist with HR support tasks connected to leave administration, workers’ compensation, and benefit-related processes as needed

• Contribute to recruiting continuity during a period of HR team reorganization by helping keep hiring timelines on track

• 3+ years of experience in recruiting, including full cycle hiring within a corporate environment
• Demonstrated ability to source candidates, conduct phone screens, and manage interviews through the selection process
• Experience preparing offer letters, coordinating pre-employment steps, and supporting onboarding activities
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and confidence using HR technology platforms
• Familiarity with leave administration and benefits support in an HR setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems; experience with Paycom is preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and competing priorities simultaneously
