For over 25 years, Express Employment Professionals of Northern NJ has been helping people find work. We currently have an opening for an Employment Specialist for our family of offices in Northern NJ.

As an Employment Specialist , you will help connect job seekers with available jobs, market top talent to local companies and screen new hires for potential employment.

The main goal of this career is to put people into jobs, meet client needs, and network within the community in a sales capacity. This job is a combination of Sales/Marketing, Recruiting, HR and Administrative duties.

Branch Hours are typically Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, but flexible hours may be offered to meet needs of clients.

Inside Sales- Appointment setting with local companies to assist with hiring needs
Candidate recruiting and attending Job Fairs
Scheduling interviews and screening applicants
Conducting phone and face to face interviews
Skill Marketing candidates to local companies
2 or 4 year degree preferred but applicable experience will be considered.
Customer service, human resource or inside sales experience required
Excellent Computer Skills
Outgoing, friendly, and professional attitude
Experience calling on businesses
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
Understanding of common business practices and procedures
Knowledge of Microsoft Office- typing and data entry ability
Reliable Transportation
Ability to interact with various individuals on a daily basis
Strong Desire to Succeed
Team player who will also be an individual contributor
Ability to adapt to change and growth
Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Hours: 8AM-5PM; Monday-Friday

Salary : Starting Base Salary is $45K-$50K per year PLUS COMMISSION.

Total compensation first year is $50K-75K depending on experience.
