3T Services, Inc. is a nationwide industrial mechanical contractor centrally based in Sioux City, IA.

3T Services takes an innovative solution-based approach to meet our customers’ needs. We specialize in the installation of hydraulic systems, steam and mechanical process piping, sanitary and compression piping systems. Our projects vary from design/build, new construction, facility renovations, system upgrades, to replacement or repair of existing piping systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

§  Ability to read and understand blueprints and isometric drawings

§  Ability to layout and sketch isometric drawings for piping runs

§  Ability to perform take offs for pipe cut lengths

§  Ability to fit, fabricate and install various types of piping runs (socket weld, butt weld, sanitary, flanged, threaded, and compression)

§  Ability to layout, fabricate and install hangers, pipe supports or equipment from drawings and job specifications

§  Ability to take directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers

§  Ability to be self-motivated, work independently or as part of a team

§  Ability to efficiently operate various hand and power tools

§  Ability to work at elevations

Required minimum qualifications:

§  Minimum of 2 years’ pipe fitting experience (industrial setting preferred)

§  Must pass fitter’s test (company)

§  Valid drivers’ license (good record preferred)

§  Ability to travel frequently, work overtime and weekends

§  Ability to pass drug test and physical capacity profile

§  Preferred to live in the Sioux City area but it is not required to live in the Sioux City area but would be required to get to the jobsite on the required days scheduled.

§  Continuous work

§  $35-42 / hourly pay

§  12 hr. shifts (typical)

§  Per diem of $55 per day

§  Paid hotels (single occupancy)

§  Paid travel time (in company vehicle)

§  Overtime pay for weekend work and 40+hrs

§  Trips ranging from 4-10 days on typical projects

This position is full-time, year round work.

Pay: $35-42 DOE and abilities
