Title
Physical Therapist - Inpatient

Schedule
5x8 - choose Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat
Weekend requirement: 2 weekend shifts per month

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient/acute care experience
- BLS certification
- New Mexico (NM) physical therapy license required (may be pending at time of submission)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to facilitate rehabilitation goals.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures regarding patient care.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Documentation due 10 days prior to start; compliance must begin within 1-2 weeks of signing.
- Free parking available.
- Scrub attire: Black scrub pants and red shirt.
- Traveler limits: 6-month system break required after 1 year or 4 consecutive assignments.
