Caregiver Supervisor

The Caregiver Supervisor will be responsible for directly overseeing and managing the provision of Home Services by the Caregivers (Home Services Workers), ensuring high-quality care and services, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. 1. Employee recruitment and retention. The Caregiver Supervisor is involved in the screening, interviewing, processing, orientation, and continual support for Caregiver employees. 2. Directly supervise and support Caregivers to ensure efficient operations and adherence to all applicable rules and regulations. 3. Develop the Client Service Plan based on an assessment and identification of the environmental,behavioral, physical, and psychosocial needs of the client. 4. Initiate the Client Service Plan including the securing and updating of complete and accurate physician orders on a timely basis, when applicable. 5. Train, coordinate, and supervise family members and assigned Caregivers in the care of the client. 6. Evaluate client, family, and Caregiver response and compliance with care. The re-assessments willinclude an assessment of the client’s general condition, a review of the progress being made, theproblems encountered by the client and the client’s satisfaction with the services being delivered by theCaregivers. The re-assessments will include observations about the appropriateness of the servicebeing provided. Supervisory home visits for the client, and for the Caregiver, will be in accordance withthe Agency’s applicable policies and procedures. 7. Interpret and document, on a timely basis, home services provided to ensure compliance with allregulatory agencies. 8. Scheduling and Coordination of client schedules. Responsible for staffing clients with suitableCaregiver employees and assuring maximum employee attendance ratios. Staffing responsibilitiesinclude emergency staffing, responding to client requests in an efficient and professional manner,reporting client /employee concerns to the Agency Manager, briefing new Caregiver employees to clientcare plans for initial visits, and initiating disciplinary action for Caregiver employees when indicated. 9. Coordinate and document all Caregiver employee training per the Agency’s Employee Training policies and procedures, and update each Caregiver’s employee file accordingly. Ensures that all Caregiver’s are compliant with required training needs. Ensures that all Caregiver’s pass requisite competency evaluations in order to provide services to clients. 10. Follow-up and documentation on reported incidents per the Agency’s mandated reporting for abuse,neglect, and financial exploitation policies and procedures, including all required reporting togovernmental agencies. 11. Follow-up, investigation and documentation on reported incidents per the Agency’s Infection Controland Employee Health and Safety policies and procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
