Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient safety goals and infection prevention, and be capable of performing comprehensive assessments for both acute and chronic disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans based on individual patient needs.
• Implement care interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and social services.
• Ensure adherence to national patient safety goals and core measures.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and functional activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Current and valid RN license in California.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• CPR certification required.
