Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Assume responsibility for patient care at the unit level, ensuring continuity and quality of care throughout each shift
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks have been delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered
• Monitor and manage clinical staff competency and appropriate resource utilization related to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Step-Down clinical setting
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Ability to work day shift in an onsite, fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a cardiovascular, surgical, or medical ICU step-down environment
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate care to clinical support staff
