We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hiring for a variety of professional services and consulting roles. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who is confident managing full-cycle recruiting, building strong partnerships with hiring managers, and filling specialized positions in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.


The ideal candidate has experience recruiting within a professional services, consulting, accounting, or corporate environment and is comfortable working independently while managing multiple open positions.

Location: Hybrid out of Portland, ME

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $30-40/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake meetings through offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies for specialized and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Source, engage, and attract qualified candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other creative sourcing methods.
• Conduct candidate screenings and behavioral interviews to evaluate skills and overall fit.
• Guide candidates through the hiring process while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate records within an applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide regular updates on recruiting progress.
• Ensure hiring practices comply with employment laws and recruiting best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for professional services, consulting, accounting, finance, or other corporate professional roles strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to recruit for specialized or hard-to-fill positions.
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and networking.
• Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a hybrid environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
