Our X-Ray Technologists play an important role in helping patients receive timely diagnoses and treatment for orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. You'll work directly with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and clinical staff while providing exceptional patient care in a specialty-focused outpatient setting.

About South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is a thriving, physician-led specialty practice serving patients throughout the Treasure Coast. Our providers specialize in orthopaedics, sports medicine, joint replacement, pain management, podiatry, and rehabilitation services.
As our practice continues to grow, we are expanding our radiology team to support patient care across multiple office locations.
What You'll Do • Perform diagnostic radiographic studies for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including pediatric patients
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to established imaging protocols
• Maintain strict radiation safety standards for patients, visitors, and staff
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain examinations clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient care
• Accurately document imaging studies and manage digital imaging systems
• Support a positive patient experience through exceptional customer service and professionalism

Requirements
Required • Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license
• Current ARRT certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy and diagnostic imaging principles
• Ability to perform routine radiographic examinations independently
• Commitment to radiation safety and quality imaging practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Reliable attendance and scheduling flexibility
Preferred • Previous orthopaedic, sports medicine, urgent care, or outpatient imaging experience
• Experience imaging pediatric patients
• Experience with a C-arm for fluoroscopy procedures
• Familiarity with PACS and digital radiography systems
Schedule • Monday through Friday
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Assigned shifts in our Stuart and Port St. Lucie offices
• Saturday coverage for our Ortho Injury Walk-In Clinic in Tradition approximately once every five weeks (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Physical Requirements • Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday
• Use of digital X-ray equipment, PACS, and standard office equipment
• Assisting patients with positioning and mobility needs
• Frequent bending, reaching, pulling, and stooping
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Assisting with patients weighing up to 300 pounds
