WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME) at Compass Group Houston, TX

Warehouse Supervisor Location: Canteen - 11123 Beltline Road, Houston, TX 77067 Schedule: Full time – Sunday 11:00am to 8:30pm; Monday‑Thursday 1:00pm to 9:30pm (details discussed during interview). Pay Range: $20.00–$22.00 per hour Experience Required: Minimum 2 years as a warehouse supervisor. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. Job Summary Oversees warehouse associates to prepare and move merchandise safely and accurately, maintaining documentation and driving performance that directly impacts safety, cost, and service metrics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise associates, including selection, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management. Develop and post work schedules, ensuring adequate labor for each shift. Interpret schedules, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed; record amounts of materials received or distributed. Move materials from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas; sort and store on racks, shelves, bins, or other locations. Weigh or count items for distribution, enter records on computer, and compile worksheets or tickets per company specifications. Maintain inventory records; fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for new items; mark products with identifying information; open containers and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms. Maintain a clean, safe work environment; report unsafe or hazardous conditions. Issue and deliver items to proper destinations, obtain signatures, and coordinate loading of vehicles for delivery. Manage stock control, plan future needs, adjust par levels, process stock orders, review orders, control dead stock, and schedule dock deliveries. Open and close visitor area, secure doors, and ensure lights are turned off. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid non‑CDL ClassC driver’s license (unless state requirements differ). Forklift trained and certified within 30 days of hire.
