ServiceNow Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a ServiceNow Developer in Saint Louis, MO.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow professional to support the development, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of a complex enterprise ServiceNow platform. This role will focus on platform engineering, workflow automation, release management, configuration management, and AI-driven capabilities.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including business rules, client scripts, workflows, custom applications, and platform customizations
* Support platform upgrades through development, testing, remediation activities, and automated testing initiatives
* Assist with code promotion, deployment automation, source control integration, and release management processes
* Develop and maintain capabilities related to configuration management, asset discovery, service mapping, and CMDB initiatives
* Troubleshoot complex platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
* Enhance workflow automation and AI-driven capabilities to improve operational efficiency and user experience
* Create and maintain technical documentation, testing procedures, deployment guides, and knowledge articles
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver platform improvements aligned with business and technical objectives

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience
* Strong experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades, code promotion, deployment processes, and platform support
* Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Common Service Data Model (CSDM), service mapping, and configuration management practices
* Experience developing workflow automation solutions within ServiceNow
* Strong documentation skills, including process documentation, knowledge articles, and testing procedures
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
