Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Johnstown, PA, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• CT Scan department within a tertiary care regional referral hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center
• Department is equipped with 2 CT scanners: Siemens Definition 40-slice and Siemens Definition Flash 128-slice
• Patient population is primarily geriatric and adult, with all ages served
• Common cases include ER and inpatient imaging with advanced CT trauma protocols
• EMR/systems include Epic, Change Healthcare (McKesson) PACS, and Medrad injectors
• Night shift: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Experience with advanced CT trauma protocols required
• 2-year radiology program education required
• Pennsylvania CT Tech licensure required if applicable
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Must live 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

• Perform ER and inpatient CT imaging in a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma environment
• The facility is a nationally recognized tertiary care referral center offering a broad range of specialty services including trauma, cardiology, oncology, neurology, and more
• Pennsylvania state compliance requirements include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Department of Human Services fingerprinting, FBI Department of Aging fingerprinting (accepted within the last 2 years), and PA State Police (PATCH) clearance — all fingerprints must be submitted and cleared before the assignment begins
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full time elsewhere are not eligible
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; no casual wear, camouflage, or denim
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
