Position Summary

The Front of House Director leads the people, systems, standards, and results of Oroville Chick-fil-A Front of House. This leader develops other leaders, builds sustainable front of house and drive-thru systems, protects food safety and food quality, drives responsible food cost and labor, and partners across the restaurant to deliver a remarkable Team Member and guest experience. This position reports to Sr. Director of Operations.

• Ability to use operational data and scorecards to create action plans and drive sustainable improvement.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across restaurant departments and senior leadership.

• Ability to schedule effectively for FOH

• Availability to support a leadership schedule generally ranging from approximately 40-50 hours per week, including applicable peaks, weekends, opening/closing coverage, and special events.

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, that involves the daily and weekly oversight and management of their team with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule & Benefits

Work Schedule: This full-time 40 hour per week hourly position is a leadership role generally expected to work approximately 40-50 hours per week based on business needs. Schedule requirements may include opening, closing, peak periods, weekends, and special events.

Pay: $26-30/hour

Overtime:  This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with Wage Order requirements..

Paid Time Off: Two weeks of paid time off for eligible Full-Time Front of House Directors, administered in accordance with Oroville

Chick-fil-A policy and applicable law.

Health Insurance: Employer contribution toward health insurance for eligible Full-Time Back of House Directors.

What You'll Own

• Overall Front of House leadership and operational performance across all dayparts.

• Development, coaching, engagement, and accountability of FOH leaders.

• Food safety, food quality, Customer service, labor, Speed of Service, cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.

• Systems for second mile service, order taking, preparation, waste control, checklists, deep cleaning, equipment care such as drink machines and ice cream maker, coffee machine and tea dispensers.

• Scorecards, action plans, operational audits, and improvement initiatives that turn business goals into sustainable results.

• Implementation of new strategies, pilots, programs, and restaurant priorities within FOH.

• Cross-functional partnership with BOH, People/HR, Training, Catering, Marketing, and senior leadership.

• A leadership pipeline that prepares Team Members and leaders for greater responsibility.

Work Environment

This position is performed in person at Oroville Chick-fil-A and may include Front of House, Back of House, or cross training assignments. The restaurant environment may include prolonged standing and walking, reaching, bending, lifting,

40 pounds, carrying, repetitive motion, heat, cold, noise, wet surfaces, and cleaning products.
