Accounting Assistant

This is a hands‑on role for someone who’s comfortable managing high-volume transactions, staying organized, and keeping things accurate. What you’ll be doing Process full-cycle Accounts Payable : invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payment processing Manage Accounts Receivable : invoicing, posting payments, resolving discrepancies, and collections follow‑up Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts; research and resolve variances Support month‑end close activities (basic reconciliations, reporting support, documentation) Maintain accurate records and provide strong internal customer service to operations and leadership Assist with process improvements and ad hoc accounting projects as needed What we’re looking for 5+ years of recent experience handling both AP and AR (required) Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency with Excel (filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP a plus) ERP/accounting software experience (any platform—QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, Sage, etc.) Reliable, accountable, and comfortable communicating with vendors/customers professionally Nice to have Associate or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience) Experience with month‑end support, reconciliations, or multi‑entity environments If you’re an experienced AP/AR professional who likes clean processes, accurate work, and being the go‑to for daily accounting support, please send an updated resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Hunter Hamilton by 2x.
