Senior Manager MedTech Tax Planning

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Manager for MedTech Tax Planning to lead strategic tax projects across a global portfolio. The role involves tax planning, compliance integration, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver tax-efficient outcomes through mid-2029.

Responsibilities

Lead portfolio of strategic tax projects through implementation and stabilization phases
Develop and manage tax workplans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
Assess tax implications across direct, indirect, international, and operational areas; develop planning strategies
Partner with tax, finance, legal, and control teams to establish implementation governance and compliance requirements
Document tax conclusions, approvals, and implementation decisions to support compliance and audit readiness

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation, or related field
Minimum 8 years progressive experience in corporate tax, tax planning, or advisory
Strong knowledge of U.S. and international tax, transfer pricing, and tax accounting
Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex cross-functional projects
Strong analytical, communication, and business-partnering skills
Proficiency with technology, data analytics, financial modeling, and collaboration tools
Advanced degree or CPA/JD credential preferred; experience with restructurings and transformations preferred
