As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Salt Lake City, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. DayTimeMon06:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue06:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front desk policies at a retail location.
- Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet incoming guests, verify identification when required, and help manage visitor access and check-in processes.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Maintain awareness of activity at the entrance and surrounding front desk area to help support order and report unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Complete routine logs, reports, and/or communications related to visitor activity, incidents, and other front desk security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
