Food Service Workers (Kitchen Cleaners, Servers, and Cooks!)
Our client, the University of Michigan (MDining), is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Workers to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be part of the university's dining services department supporting a vibrant community of students, faculty, and staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Start Date: ASAP Pay Range: $18
Shift: Days and Afternoon shifts available. Both full time and part time.
What's the Job?
- Take and serve food orders, ensuring timely delivery of meals to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and kitchen areas
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming and organized dining environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
