Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in a high-volume emergency department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage patient documentation using the Cerner system.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure high standards of communication and patient updates using AIDET protocols.
• Maintain proficiency in utilizing emergency department equipment, including Baxter pumps and GE monitors.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required in North Carolina or compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications are required prior to starting.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting.
• Experience in Level II trauma centers or comprehensive stroke centers is preferred.
• Flexible to work in all areas of the emergency department.
• Must possess a team-focused work ethic and the ability to provide real-time feedback.
