About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Accounting & Corporate Controller to take on a pivotal role in leading all accounting operations, driving technical accounting excellence, and building a world-class controllership function. The successful candidate will be responsible for a 30-person team, overseeing general ledger, revenue recognition, billing, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, reporting, and compliance. This hands-on executive position demands deep expertise in ASC 606 and ASC 842, with a focus on modernizing processes, and reporting, and leveraging ERP functionality. The role also requires a strategic partnership with the CFO, serving as a key advisor on accounting matters, financial controls, and strategic initiatives. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including controllership-level responsibility, and a strong command of US GAAP, internal controls, and complex accounting environments. A CPA is required, with a preference for those with a Big 4 or national public accounting foundation. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in ERP transformation, with NetSuite experience being strongly preferred, and a background in security services, field services, technology, telecom, SaaS, or other recurring-revenue models. The role demands a leader who can operate in a growing, evolving, hands-on environment, and who is adept at cross-functional partnership, particularly with Sales, Operations, Customer Care, Treasury, Tax, and Compliance.
