Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Opportunity - Elko, NV Position Overview

RecruitWell is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for an urgent locum tenens assignment at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, Nevada. This is an outpatient clinic opportunity with flexible scheduling options available immediately through ongoing coverage.

Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive gynecological and obstetrical care in an outpatient clinic setting Deliver prenatal care services to pregnant patients Work clinic hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with patient visits beginning at 8:00 AM See approximately 20 patient encounters per shift Handle 3-4 average phone consultations per shift Manage 2-4 average patient admissions during the assignment Participate in both inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic duties Maintain hands-on patient care approximately 75% of the time Candidate Requirements Active medical license in Nevada or IMLC membership required Board certification eligible (board certification not required but eligible candidates preferred) Fellowship training in Obstetrics and Gynecology required ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support) certification required Ability to respond to calls within 30 minutes Must submit CV/Resume as part of application materials Pre-hire requirements including background check and drug screen required through People Services Vendor responsible for obtaining all necessary credentials and pre-hire documentation Organizational Highlights
