Warehouse Operator/ Material Handler - Full-Time 40 Hrs.

Annual Pay: $50,000 - $55,000 DOE

Position Summary 

The Warehouse Operator / Material Handler Full-time role is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production operations. This role requires the safe operation of warehouse equipment, effective inventory management, and adherence to all company safety policies to ensure materials are available to meet production and customer needs. 

Core Responsibilities 

• Load, unload, transport, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while following company and OSHA safety requirements. 
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage, and verify received materials against purchase orders and packing slips. 
• Store, label, organize, and rotate inventory to ensure accurate stock control and efficient warehouse operations. 
• Conduct inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock checks, and maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory tracking tools. 
• Pull, stage, package, palletize, shrink-wrap, label, and prepare materials and products for production and shipment. 
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving personnel to ensure timely processing and dispatch of materials and orders. 
• Complete required documentation, shipping records, inventory transactions, and material movement records. 
• Operate computers, scanners, QR printers, and warehouse management systems to track inventory and maintain data accuracy. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. 
• Safely handle materials, including hazardous materials when required, in accordance with company procedures and regulations. 
• Inspect assigned equipment before using and promptly report on maintenance, safety, or operational concerns. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse, loading dock, and storage areas, including routine housekeeping activities such as sweeping, dusting, and debris removal. 
• Participate in company safety programs, support a zero-injury safety culture, report hazards, and comply with all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. 
• Crosstrain and assist in other departments or operational areas as needed to support business needs. 

Skills and Qualifications 

• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
• Ability to lift to 50–100 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions. 
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. 
• OSHA forklift certification is preferred but not required. 
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy for inventory control and order fulfillment. 
• Basic math skills for inventory and material tracking. 
• Basic computer and data entry skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, shipping documents, and inventory records in English. 
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including approved safety footwear, gloves, eye protection, and other required safety gear. 
• Basic operational knowledge of warehouse facility equipment, including roll-up doors.
